Resonance Art

We are a group of artists bringing the concept of resonance with arts like music, chanting, dancing, painting

ABOUT US

ResonanceArt is a Swiss non-profit association dedicated to promoting, supporting and celebrating the arts and culture in all their forms.

We are also a digital platform: artists from all over the world can create a free profile, share their journey, list their creations, organise events, and connect with a community that values the soul behind every art form.

Through this platform, artists can:

  • Create a personal profile and showcase their universe.
  • Publish their creations (music, paintings, sculptures, photography, jewellery, films, holistic goods, natural medicine, and more) on our Market.
  • Sell their creations directly to buyers, receiving the full amount on their own bank account or Stripe account. ResonanceArt takes 0% commission, because we are a non-profit.
  • Open donation-based campaigns to fund their artistic, humanitarian, or ecological projects (with three dedicated donation categories: Humanitarian, Nature & Animals, Research & Innovation).
  • Announce their own events, workshops and gatherings, visible to the whole community.
  • Send and receive private messages with other members, opening doors for collaborations and friendships.

We are a multidisciplinary association with a special focus on live performance — particularly dance and music — and we highlight the therapeutic dimension of the arts, recognising the deep benefits they bring in terms of emotional resonance and well-being.

This dimension of resonance also grows by welcoming artists from abroad, especially those from indigenous communities. We are committed to walking alongside them during their stays, so that they can express their talents, share their healing traditions, and pass on their sacred messages — messages born from their deep connection with Mother Earth and from their wider relationship with the living world as a whole, both at the microcosmic and macrocosmic levels.

WHAT WE ORGANISE

Beyond the digital platform, ResonanceArt is alive in the real world. Throughout the year we organise:

  • Live concerts and dance performances, featuring artists from very different horizons.
  • Whirling dance gatherings, in the Sufi tradition, guided by our team.
  • Cacao ceremonies, with live music, intention setting, and shared silence.
  • Sound healing sessions and gong baths, to release tension and reconnect with the body.
  • African dance and djembé workshops, opening the door to West African rhythm and culture.
  • Meditative painting sessions, where art becomes a path to emotional release.
  • Voice healing circles and polyphonic singing workshops, to find and free your own voice.
  • Yoga, capoeira and movement classes, blending tradition and personal exploration.
  • Snoezelen multisensory experiences and musical naps, for deep relaxation of body and mind.
  • Artist residencies, hosting creators for a few days or weeks so they can create, rest, and share their craft.
  • Jam sessions and open meetings, where artists and curious souls can simply gather, play together, exchange ideas, and weave new connections.

OUR GOALS

** Promoting the Arts:
– Organise and produce live shows, dance performances, concerts and other artistic events, putting the spotlight on artists from many horizons, and offering the public rich and diverse cultural experiences that nourish the local and regional cultural scene.

** Art and Therapy:
– Share the therapeutic benefits of the arts, through workshops and integrative practices that bring together art and well-being.

** Helping Artists Live From Their Art:
– Offer logistical and organisational support for the events they create.
– Provide a directory of artists, sorted by art form, to make it easier to discover their work, build collaborations, meet other creators, and open doors to professional opportunities across every role in the artistic scene.
– Give artists greater visibility, both through social media and through the personal network of ResonanceArt.
– Provide a Market where artists can sell their creations directly to buyers, keeping 100% of the price.
– Allow artists to launch donation campaigns to fund their personal artistic, humanitarian or ecological projects.

** Growing Artistic Skills for Everyone:
– Offer trainings, workshops and immersive sessions, so that both the general public and artists can discover new artistic practices, or deepen the craft they already love.

** Awareness and Access to Culture:
– Build initiatives that raise awareness of how important the arts are, and open up access to live performance — especially for young people, schools, and communities that don’t usually have easy access to cultural offerings.

** Crafts and Instruments — Sales and Promotion:
– Hold direct and online sales of musical instruments and handcrafted goods, to support local and international artists and artisans, putting traditional know-how and original creations in the spotlight.

Lyo

Whirling dance, music and workshops coordinator with the facilitators

The whirling dance, called in different ways in different cultures, this dance accompanies us all from childhood, and allows self-alignment, it is a method of auto-meditation since to be able to whirl without feeling dizzy, you have to focus on your breathing and try to focus on that, without really looking around when whirling, you become one with the world.

Being a musician and having followed the workshops of the various speakers for several years, he would facilitate each workshop.

The various speakers being colleagues, they are also friends whom he brings together, having known for several years the activity of each one. Lyo will facilitate with the organizers the various workshops: singing by bringing the learning of diphonic songs and throat songs, musical accompanist for African dance, cocoa ceremony, spinning dance and conscious dance, also facilitator for signed rhythm workshops.

“Oh day, come so that the particles dance
The one by whom, the Earth and the skies dance
The hearts and souls dance from extreme happiness, in an uncaring, free mood
I’ll wispier in your ears that where will they dance”

Watch your thoughts;

They become words.

Watch your words;
They become actions
Watch your actions;
They become habits.
Watch your habits;
They become character
Watch your character;
It becomes your destiny

Jonathan

Djembé cadence

This music program is aimed at young people and people who have little or no practiced percussion. It is an introduction to polyphony and African culture for educational purposes and above all fun. The objective of this course is to manage to make simple rhythms and find pleasure in it in the coherence of the group. To do this we will bring back a sufficient number of instruments and our experience from our travels in Africa.

Facilitator:

Jonathan

I have been practicing percussion for 17 years and am led to work mainly on rhythms that appeal to trance and traditional African percussion. I accompany this program in an approach, liberating movement, joy and history on the sources of music.

Adeleh

Meditative painting

This program brings together art and meditation to bring out our emotions or what inhabits us deepest and that we find difficult to put into words or to move away from self-criticism.
“Meditative painting” is for everyone, children, adolescents, adults, seniors in a process of personal development. Do not panic, no skills are required! Our goal is to allow everyone to escape into creation, turned inward to be attentive to their emotions and to leave aside for a little while all the worries of everyday life.

Facilitator:
Adeleh

As a painter for over 10 years, I have always sought the essence of spirituality in my work and through this program I wish to share the therapeutic benefits and transformative effects of art and spirituality.

Actif member of ResonanceArt
Juan Juan Insta

Filbert

I pass on my passion through the experimentation of movements as well as musical awakening. Mastering the dances of West Africa, I mix gestures with contemporary dance, urban dances and I adapt according to my audience.

The goal is the physical awakening with the children through various movements combined by the rhythm. For the elderly, I work on mobility taking into account their limits through body awareness and self-listening.

Facilitator:

Filbert TOLOGO, dancer and choreographer

Teacher and specialist in African dance,

With more than 10 years of experience in the field of pedagogy, I am passionate about my profession and eager to supervise children, adolescents, adults and seniors in their personal development through different dance approaches in order to accompany everyone in its openness to the world.

Very active in the Geneva cultural landscape as an artist, I have collaborated with many theaters and festivals as part of my artistic projects, in Switzerland and abroad.

On the other hand, I am a teacher for children and adults, and I give professional training for teachers who learn to transmit emotions through their bodies.

WORKSHOP: An artist with many worlds

* SNOEZELEN
A multisensory practice that gently awakens, channels and nurtures the senses, in a safe and soothing atmosphere. It is mostly used in the fields of disability and mental health, but it has been opening up more and more to a wider audience — people who want to release or calm their emotions and simply feel a sense of well-being.

* SOUND THERAPY
Individual session at your home, with Tibetan bowls, therapeutic tuning forks, a shamanic drum, chimes… The sounds and vibrations travel through the water inside the body, which acts as a conductor, and reach the places where we hold tension. The benefits of this technique are many — physical, emotional, mental — and bring you into a state of deep relaxation.

* MUSICAL AND SENSORY NAP
A gentle blend of sound therapy and Snoezelen. An invitation to travel, to let go, to disconnect from the mind and come back to the body’s perceptions. This workshop can be adapted for both children and adults.

As Secretary of ResonanceArt, Julie takes care of organisation and logistics for the artists.

A healthcare assistant by profession, she is trained in the Snoezelen approach and is currently completing a sound therapy training course.

Alongside this, she has been developing whirling meditative dance with Lyo for the past two years.

Her wish is to offer moments of well-being through body expression and sensory stimulation, so that creativity can bloom in both the little ones and the grown-ups.

“True art is not only there to help us escape — above all, it brings us back to ourselves, to who we truly are.”
